The Ads

Oh hey, advertising professional!

I have filled THOUSANDS of decks with very, very good creative for very, very good agencies and brand teams.

But I can’t show them to you because I enjoy not being sued.

I can, however, show you these. These are just ads, put in one place so you don’t have to dig. Enjoy.

A one sentence idea at the back of a deck that was approved immediately

Masterclass

It was 2020 and no one was available.

My idea: scroll through thousands of hours of Masterclass footage and make one big story of self improvement.

Masterclass Direct Line

You have not lived until you’ve walked Werner Herzog through setting up a recording device.

Masterclass wanted to give members even more access to their instructors.

So I got them all on the phone.

And I wrote 6 full page NYT ads to show it off.

And I directed Wayne Gretzky in recording the away message.

International Delight

Oh the :60 version of this would have been so epic. Added to the list of unproduced gems.

Upwork

Upwork didn’t know how to talk about AI.

I taught them.

KIND

The battle, the love affair between stomach and mind.

NBC / Universal

Back in 2020, NBC wanted to show people how to vote. And because everyone was home, they all wanted to participate.

I named the campaign, wrote a ton of modular spots, and even did music supervision.

Nike

The NHL was on strike and Canada was sad, so we needed to cheer them up.

The first draft was the approved script.

Nike, again.

Chris Paul is known for cutting through the Staples Center.

We wanted to show just how powerful he is with one frozen moment in LA.

Nike again and again and again.

I was the voice of Nike Women China.

Inappropriate? Yes.

So I had influencers try sports for the first time and built scripts around their reactions.
