49 Mile Scenic Drive

Bradley Smith, Tyler McPherron, and I made this documentary after I saw two versions of the same street sign.

I wrote the script, narrated, and illustrated the titles.

It premiered at the San Francisco international Film Festival, toured the world, and was released online as a Vimeo Staff Pick.

Books

I’ve written three travel books. They’re full of anecdotes and illustrations about my time in my favorite cities. Please buy them anywhere that isn’t Amazon.

zines

During my time at YouTube, I ran a small Risograph printing studio in the office. I may or may not have spent a few weekends there.

Snacks Quarterly

Brad Simon and I founded Snacks Quarterly in 2014 to share our love of Snacks with the World.

As the Editorial Director I oversaw the contributing writers, wrote a letter from the editor, and created a piece under a pen name for each issue.

I invite you to jump in, poke around, and see if you can pick out my stories. Here are a few of my favorites.

2 installations

I wanted to bring a little magic to the employees of YouTube by showing them two different perspectives of the building they see everyday. My collaborators and I filled the pool with fruit and erected a crane over their massive red slide.

If you look closely, you can find me on the slide. I’m the one waving a hat.
